JobLeadsDirect ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through jobleadsdirect.co.uk. Contact: support@jobleadsdirect.co.uk.

From tradesmen: name, email, mobile number, postal address, date of birth, trade, business name, payment confirmation details, and a copy of your driving licence or passport for ID verification.

From customers (leads): name, contact details, postcode, and job description — collected via our advertising campaigns when customers request a quote.

Automatically: basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) for security and analytics.

To create and manage your account; verify your identity; deliver leads you have purchased; process payments; send service notifications (purchase confirmations, lead delivery, account updates); investigate reports of bad leads; comply with legal obligations; and improve the service.

Contract: processing required to deliver the service you signed up for.
Legal obligation: retaining records for tax and accounting.
Legitimate interest: fraud prevention, security, service improvement.
Consent: non-essential cookies and any marketing communications.

Our payment processor (for taking payment); SMS and email providers (to deliver leads and notifications); our cloud hosting and database providers; and law enforcement where legally required. We do not sell your data and we do not share tradesman ID documents with customers or other tradesmen.

Account data: while your account is active plus 6 years after closure for tax records. ID documents: until your account is closed, then deleted within 30 days. Lead data: 12 months from delivery. Marketing preferences: until you withdraw consent.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. You can also withdraw consent at any time. We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers on this site. Where any non-essential cookie is used in future we will ask for your consent first.

ID documents are stored in a private, access-controlled bucket. Passwords are hashed. Payments are processed by a PCI-compliant provider — we never see your card details.
